Connecting teachers online impacts student learning | EDtalks I am wondering what it is that prevents teaching from reclaiming virtues. Truth, honesty and kindness seem to be a struggle with some youngsters. With the current trend to meet every learners' need, attempt every 'new' and 'trendy' initiative it appears that two key principles are at stake esp in secondary schooling. It is not new that coherent thinking across all subjects, and the pursuit of excellence is an aim but often out of reach. I'm not sure if I can even begin to find an answer... One thing i know is that i want to be more responsive to shifts in learner needs, improve the uptake on feedback and find ways to grow student self efficacy.
